We recognize and celebrate the unique strengths and perspectives of children with blindness or low vision. Our camp is designed to be fully accessible, providing adaptive sports and activities that cater to all abilities, ensuring that each child feels empowered, supported, and included in all aspects of camp life.
Mission Statement:
Camp Abilities Colorado- Blind Youth Adventure’s mission is to empower visually impaired students to be an integrated and active part of their world. Through physical activity and challenges, youth build confidence, self-awareness, and endurance to enable them to self-advocate. By building self-efficacy students learn about their boundaries and how best to communicate and problem-solve for access to the goals they want to achieve.
